• During my time at Dyson as a salesperson, I gained valuable experience that has helped me develop both professionally and personally. One of the most significant skills I acquired was the ability to communicate effectively with customers from a wide variety of backgrounds. Through my interactions with customers, I learned to listen actively, ask thoughtful questions, and tailor my approach to meet their needs. This has not only made me a more effective salesperson, but it has also helped me develop stronger relationships with others in all areas of my life. I also learned the importance of attention to detail. As a salesperson, it was critical that I had a comprehensive understanding of the products I was selling. This meant not only knowing the features and benefits of each product, but also understanding how they worked and what made them unique. I had to be able to answer technical questions from customers and provide accurate information about the products. This attention to detail has helped me develop a deeper understanding of products and services in general, which has helped me in many other areas of my life.

• During my time at Tesco, I've been able to obtain many skills whilst contributing to the team to make people’s lives easier. At Tesco I have completed tasks whilst serving customers in a limited time frame. I have become more confident with talking to customers and helping them whenever they need help with something. Time Management has also been a major part of working at Tesco as stock had to be replenished when in high demand whilst providing excellent customer service to the customers.

• I have worked for a large property development, transport and infrastructure company undertaking general administration duties such as archiving files, property records, contracts and agreements. I have also attended some internal meetings to understand the business work practises and how companies operate. It has been a fascinating insight into the workings of corporate entities and how transactions are negotiated and structured. I learnt skills concerning online record keeping and file management together with improving my confidence from interacting with people from different backgrounds in a professional work environment
